The AML/CFT/CFP & Sanctions Investigations Lithuania Unit is seeking a Compliance Officer (Transaction Monitoring) to join our team. As a Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in our second line of defence against financial crime, contributing to daily monitoring activities to protect our organization, customers, and communities from the risks associated with financial crime.

What You Will Do:

•  Monitor customers and transactions by investigating alerts generated in Luminor's anti-financial crime systems.
• Analyze customer information and transactions using Luminor's systems, public databases, and other records.
• Maintain contact with internal units responsible for customer communication to obtain information about customer activities.
• Identify suspicious and unusual activities, prepare investigation summaries, and escalate cases to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer if needed.
• Support Luminor employees with AML-related matters.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting a constructive approach and providing honest feedback to ensure high performance.

What We Expect: 

•  A university degree in law, economics, finance management, or a related field.
  At least 3 years of experience in the AML/CFT/Sanctions area.
• Suitable interpersonal skills, including trustworthiness, confidentiality, and the ability to manage sensitive information.
• Attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
• The ability and willingness to train, support, and coach others.
• Teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility, with high ethical standards and a commitment to results.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English, with knowledge of Russian considered a strong plus.
