SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Our client - Nielsen & Nielsen Holding Shared Service Centre in Kaunas is looking for Senior accountant

Nielsen & Nielsen Holding SSC, UAB, a subsidiary of Nielsen & Nielsen Holding A/S which is the parent
company of an international, Danish-owned group consisting of more than 30 companies worldwide with 2,200 employees. The turnover is around 2.1 billion DKK, with exports accounting for 84%.

Main functions:

Investment management, creation and update of assets, depreciation of the assets, split of

the assets, transactions of sold and disposed assets, administration of assets counting

G/L account management, G/L postings, recurring entries

Intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Monetary revaluations

Calculations of inventory provisions and write offs

Cash management and forecasting

VAT reporting/preparation, statutory reporting/preparation, corporate tax returns/preparation

Foreign VAT collection/data preparation

Other external reporting/data preparation

Administration of authority audits

Preparation of the budgets

Management reporting

Payroll transactions recording and payments

General system support

Data preparation and participating in other finance projects

Insurance management administration

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of previous successful experience in a similar role in accounting/finance

University degree in finance and/or economics

Strong business understanding

Strong organisational skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office applications and accounting software)

Fluent in English (oral and written)

Ability to work independently

Structured with the ability to organize the working day
