Project Manager in Core Payments

Job information

We are strengthening our project management team in PSD2/Open Banking Standard projects which is all about - helping customers, banks and regulators take banking into a truly 21st-century connected digital economy by opening bank’s data and services for 3rd party applications and services. Therefore, we are looking for a Project Manager to join current projects’ governance.

Focus Area 

  • Facilitate and establish suitable organizational setup for the project and establish the working relationships with business areas, suppliers, Steering committee and other relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for team building, guidance and skills development to achieve project goals
  • Adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, systems and tools as defined by Danske Bank
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the project management process
  • Organize and lead project operations
  • Actively manage the development and preparation of business cases, cost/benefit analysis and project budgets
  • Ensure proper scope elicitation and manage scope change
  • Ensure the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope


  • 3+ years’ experience and a track record in successfully managing software development and IT project in corporate environment
  • Knowledge of industry standards in both information technology and project management
  • Excellent English
  • Bachelor’s or master degree in IT, business management or relevant
  • Experience of working in global teams (advantage)
  • PM certificate from official authorities (advantage)
  • Great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Financial services experience preferred
