We are seeking a technical business analyst with strong hands-on experience in delivering data driven controls and governance.

In this position you will be responsible for developing large scale data solutions that fits multiple lines of business, this includes building requirements for API integrations and data model sets that can be deployed across the Care Apps portfolios to unlock expanded self-service capabilities and enhance the overall customer experience.

You will be liaising closely with the engineering and technical teams that form the front line of systems for customer support and ensure implementation is accomplished in alignment with requirements.

In your technical role, you will leverage your expertise of Western Unions intricate web of host systems, CARE tools & technology and other integration services to build business requirements, design process maps, and integration documentation, while serving as the knowledge expert and UAT coach & mentor. You will work closely with the technology and engineering leads, vendors, intent analysts, business analysts, product owners, and other SMEs & Stakeholders to ensure that a flawless solution is delivered.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand and connect the data flows of information between web host, API and communication channel services (IVR, IVA and Chat).

  • Assist in leading data clean up efforts to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Work with cross regional / and functional working groups to implement strategic data capabilities and requirements gathering.

  • Develop data flows, ownership matrixes and data lineage.

  • Apply in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical and data contributions.

  • Gather and synthesize existing data governance principles, policies, practices and standards.

  • Ability to write User Stories and technical mapping and design flows that can be used by partners and internal teams to implement integration points.

  • Create test data, test cases, and related business process flows.

  • Develop process improvement initiatives, introduce new ideas to improve integration efficiencies, using or consuming new data elements or find ways to integrate with new data sources.

  • Must be a problem solver, be comfortable troubleshooting problems and working with the technical and engineering teams to find solutions.

  • NOTE: this is not an engineering role and the focus is on writing documentation that follows Western Unions strategy for API integration and technology evolution.
     

Role Requirements

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with diverse, global teams across multiple time zones.

  • Strong MS Office tools knowledge. Any data management tools would be an advantage.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English language.

  • Relevant experience of care channel or customer related systems.

  • Ability to translate business needs to technical teams.

  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented with the ability to achieve goals amid limited supervision.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment.

  • Enjoy collaborating with co-workers to develop solutions and establish a sense of trust and respect.

  • Deep understanding of web host and API integration.

  • Knowledge of Western Union front line applications, Interactive conversational technologies and calls management is an advantage.

  • This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, coordination with teams across the globe, in multiple time zones and ability to support deployments during the standard WU change windows.

  • Ability to work in hybrid way (3 days per week working from office).

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 2175 3291 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
