Do you want to work in the Service Reliability and Observability area to Modernize IT Monitoring?
Metrics, logs, traces, observability, monitoring, visibility, dashboards, infrastructure, cloud, if these get you excited, keep on reading.
You will become part of a Service Reliability area of high priority in the organisation, with the vision of profoundly changing the way the bank functions.
Our goal is to adopt modern technologies to ensure stability, performance, and fast recovery.
We are looking for a team member with a deep technical background to develop Observability foundations:
- Discoveryservices: maintain a database containing insights about our infrastructure and applications, but let me assure you, we are not doing that manually.
- Enrichmentservices: not every platform or tool is spitting out data that makes sense, using the database mentioned above, we add missing details to millions of events, logs, and metrics.
- Event and Alert Management: ensure that Observability can provide meaningful insights and assist in handling any situation.
Visualizationservices: ensure that there is a way to consume those vast amounts of data in a human-readable and attractive way.
You will:
- Open a next chapter in Observability journeyby driving Best-of-Breed technology adoption for developers and engineers
- Join andguidethe Observability and Toolset Engineering Team (OTE) to achieve goalsas a team memberand as an individual contributor
- Createthe next challengesfor OTE and lead the development of observability infrastructure, tools, and practices
- Act as an all-things-observabilityevangelist
- Introduce achangein basic assumptions from a traditional Monitoring setup to a modern organization
- Assist in building and adoptingmodern technologies
- Collaborateclosely with Platform and Software engineers in infrastructure and application teams, with plenty of opportunities to upskill your technical knowledge
About you:
- Everything is possible (with a price) attitude
- 3 + years of hands-on experience with some of these:
- public cloud infrastructure
- building solutions for monitoring, alerting and observability
- collecting and processing metrics, logs, traces or profiling
- removing toil (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform)
- Cross-cultural collaborative problem-solving approach, along with effective communication skills
- Upper-intermediate skills in written and spoken English
We offer
Monthly salary range from 4320 EUR to 6480 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
