Job description
LTS Beratung GmbH is seeking an Engineer to join our team. We operate and develop a CI/CD platform that hosts around 500 dedicated customer toolchains with approximately 25,000 users. Our platform is currently based on OpenStack private cloud, Terraform, and Ansible, and manages around 2000 Ubuntu Linux virtual machines. We are in the process of redesigning our platform to be based on Kubernetes in a private cloud environment.
- Redesign and implementation of our CI/CD platform based on Kubernetes in a private cloud environment.
- Develop custom Kubernetes operators and controllers.
- Automate the migration of toolchains from VMs to Kubernetes containers.
- Provide technical support to our user base (24/7 On-Call participation optional)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a DevOps/systems engineer/operator
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, especially Debian derivates.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (development of custom operators and controllers is a plus, but may also be obtained on the job)
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. (German is a plus)
- Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS) and Linux (LFCS/LFCE) are highly desirable.
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
