Position Summary:
HR Specialist provides support in functional areas of Human Resources which include onboarding, personnel records and contracts, employee relations, regulatory reporting requirements, benefits administration, employee training, development of HR policies and procedures, and other areas as needed. The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR processes and data.
Responsibilities:
- Be compliant with existing employment laws and regulations
- Assisting candidates with the legal migration requirements and providing administrative support
- Prepare and update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating, and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist with payroll processing
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly data reports
- Develop/implement automated processes for Onboarding, records tracking
- Respond and explain to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests. Provide assistance regarding policies, procedures, laws, and job descriptions to new and existing employees.
- Update Human Resources policies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or relevant HR/administrative position
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Knowledge of current employment laws (including migration law)
- A proficient level of Lithuanian and English verbal and written is a must
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills, proactiveness
- Very detail-oriented and good analytical skills
- Strong ability in using MS Office. Ability to create detailed reports and spreadsheets
