Job description
We are seeking a dependable and highly skilled Financial Manager / Accountant to oversee our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the CEO, taking charge of the company's financial activities and providing valuable guidance on future financial strategies.
• Comprehensive Financial Management: Manage all aspects of financial accounting and tax services.
• Payroll and Accounts Payable: Prepare and administer payroll while efficiently handling payable
accounts.
• Invoice Management: Process vendor invoices and generate customer bills for prompt transactions.
• Accurate Entries: Ensure precise entries into the accounting system, adhering to regulatory accounting
and tax standards, including sales and receivables, costs and liabilities, and bank statements.
• Asset Management: Account for fixed assets and maintain depreciation schedules.
• Compliance: Prepare and submit reports to relevant government institutions and agencies, ensuring
compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
• Closing Procedures: Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
• R&D Accounting Compliance: Establish and manage Research and Development (R&D) accounting
procedures in alignment with the specific regulations of the country of operation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial analyses and related reports to guide informed
decision-making.
• Customized Finance Support: Fulfill additional finance-related tasks and projects as directed by the CEO.
• Document Organization: Organize and maintain department files and databases as required.
• Financial Guidance: Provide expert advice on investment activities and recommend strategic financial
directions for the company.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's
actual performance.
• Cost Optimization: Identify cost-reduction opportunities through reviews and evaluations.
• Budget Management: Lead the preparation and management of the company's budget.
• Financial Health: Ensure the ongoing financial health of the organization.
• Confidentiality: Maintain the utmost discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial
information and discussions, both within and outside the organization.
Requirements
• Professional Qualification: Hold a professional accounting qualification.
• Educational Background: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrate a track record of at least 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Tax Expertise: Profound knowledge of Lithuanian Tax Legislation.
• International Standards: Familiarity with international financial reporting standards.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software for a full range of accounting functions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data in a clear, concise format.
• Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Deadline-Driven: Capability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Independence: Able to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Attention to Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
