Job description
Responsible for accounting functions in Kaunas Center of Excellence, including:
- Delivery and support of all accounting and financial transactions support according to Service Level Agreements with Hollister Legal Entities, such as but not limited to Bank Statements, Accounts Receivables, Intercompany, Cash Management/Treasury.
- Supporting correct bookkeeping and month/year end closing tasks execution related to the appropriate GAAP / IFRS.
- Support of external accounting relationships including service providers, auditors and tax advisors, bank administration.
- Preparation of agreed financial reports for Kaunas Center of Excellence related entities.
- Development of internal controls and policies and procedures.
- Provision of assistance to financial analysts in yearly planning cycles.
- Communication with corporate accounting and other corporate departments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in AR accounting.
- Basic experience for financial closing.
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration or Accounting or similar qualification.
- Very good knowledge of business English.
- Experience working with SAP would be an advantage.
- German or other European languages such as French / Italian / Dutch would be an advantage.
- Experience in shared service center would be an advantage.
- Familiar with IFRS / US GAAP (Plus will be familiar with local GAAP such as Germany) would be an advantage.
