Goal of the position:

• Development & design/re-design of product specific modules for driver assistance systems.
• Implementation of design- and code reviews to be able to validate the quality of the components.
• Carrying out test scenarios which are integrated into an existing software simulation framework or adapted to a specific test model in the lab/on the test track.
• Analysis and continuous improvement of the software related test results.

Main tasks:

• Develop system requirements, derive software requirements, develop the software and implement it along the development process.
• Perform tests in software-in-the-loop environments and on the control unit.
• Responsible for coordinating and tracking tests on system level.
• Coordination of development tasks regarding the software development process.
• Frequent communication with several development departments (mechanics, electrics), testing department, product management, purchasing department.
• Communication with customers and software service providers.
