We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer with a preference for backend development. People that are proactive, product-minded and enthusiastic about crafting the impactful software product for our customers find a best fit at Omnisend. As a Software Engineer in the Analytics & Reporting team you will work with senior, highly performing individuals to build a reporting engine which will empower our customers to make optimal marketing decisions. The team is responsible for ensuring that our customers have access to consistent, accurate and real-time or near real-time reports.

What youll do @Omnisend:

Contribute significantly to product development decisions;
Design, develop, and test features;
Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance;
Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting;
Share best practices with team members.

We expect that youll bring:

Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems;
Customer centricity;
Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang;
Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools;
Proficiency in any database;
Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub;
Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services);
Experience with event based architecture;
Experience developing Analytics & Reporting system(s) for large user bases.
