Risk & Compliance Tribe is playing a major role in Risk Management & Compliance processes by providing Data, Software, and Infrastructure solutions. Currently we are looking for a Chapter Lead that will join our Tribe and support a matured team of Data Engineers. Being a Chapter Lead in our Tribe provides good balance of leadership and engineering – it includes leading, mentoring, and growing engineers in the chapter, but also at the same time you will be able to have hands on deliveries in squad keeping your engineering skills proficient. Moreover, we are on Turning to New Tech path – this brings new opportunities to be the part of our data and its processing modernization journey.

You will:

  • Be responsible for growing and developing a team of skilled Data Engineers, taking accountability for their professional and personal growth
  • Together with other Chapter Leads and Product Owners participate in Leadership Team in the Tribe, creating a collaborative environment through empowering leadership
  • Define best data engineering practices in the Tribe through collaboration with Chapter Area Lead and Data Engineering Guild
  • Design, build, and maintain ETLs and infrastructure required for data processing, analysis, and integration across various systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and new features
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the Tribe for Data Engineering related questions consulting other squads and engineers on most complex solutions

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer with great understanding of ETL processes, relational databases, and data modelling
  • Ideally you have been a leader with engineering background for some years or at least have a strong inner commitment to lead a team of engineers and grow your leadership skills
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experienced in working with ETL tools like SSIS, IBM Data Stage, Informatica, Alteryx, AWS Glue etc. to develop data pipelines ingesting data from structured / semi-structured data sources
  • Experience with managing infrastructure, servers, and clusters on on-prem cloud platforms and public ones such as AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced problem-solving and communication skills, ability to explain IT lingo to non-technical colleagues in a simple manner
  • Advanced English skills, both oral and written

We offer

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
