Summary: 
This role is responsible for supporting the strategic leadership of the Global Business Services Organization within Dexcom. This role requires active involvement in developing and executing the GBS engagement with the functions and transformation agenda across Dexcom in collaboration with the Global Business Services Lead, Product owners, Human Resources, and the broader leadership team.
Engagement Lead Partners with the Director of Business Services Strategy and Advisory to support stakeholders interested in engaging the GBS. Responsible for performing assessments of current state activities and following the prescribed framework steps to provide recommendations on GBS Location, scoping, capabilities, and savings. Role is responsible for supporting the initiative from initial engagement through to project handover to the recommended site. Special focus in this role is on supporting leaders and their respective teams to help lead strategic internal initiatives that drive broad scale operational transformation including, assisting strategic imperatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting strategic location strategy, and translating strategic vision into action. The role will also be responsible for supporting the Business Change agenda, value realization, supporting the high-level GBS roadmap, & change management.

About the Role:
GBS Engagement and Advisory
  • Participate in initial Opportunity assessment discussions and identify opportunities within functional teams and processes for transition to the GBS
  • Perform follow up activities as outlined in the GBS Engagement playbook. Including partnering with the function to coordinate across GBS, Functional Leaders and support areas to understand potential scope, location strategy, insights to inform business decisions on GBS capabilities.
  • Travel to locations to perform Process assessments and deep dive analysis on key activities in order to understand feasibility.
  • Lead consulting discussions with functions and provide recommendations to GBS Advisory lead based on findings to support final opportunity assessment recommendations.
  • Develop high level project plans, scoping and business case recommendations for delivery to Function.
  • Support the PMO Implementation into site/s along with the Transformation teams.
  • Anchor communication and stakeholder management until such time as the site/relevant business leaders in the GBS can take over the Project Management (Post initial scoping and agreement with the function)
  • Role will require impartial decision-making recommendations and strong communication with upstream functional partners, FP&A and GBS locations.

  • Coordinate transformational efforts across regions

Governance:
Support the development, creation and implementation of key global frameworks necessary for driving Global Alignment in the GBS model. Recognizing the need for some localization but working to drive a globally aligned approach to key GBS requirements.
  • Support Director of GBS Advisory with the development of key frameworks, governance materials and artefacts. Work through site leadership to ensure the implementation and compliance with regards to updates.
  • Service Catalogue:
  • Ensure Sites maintain globally aligned and agreed Service Catalogue
  • Coordinate with Site Owners to ensure updated on a regular cadence (Monthly).
  • Communication Strategy: Maintain Communication Strategy templates and coordinate with all locations and stakeholders to prepare materials for distribution, coordinate events and provide recommendations based on Stakeholder Maps and Awareness insights.
  • Support the maintenance of GBS MOS system overall including the preparation and development of key communication materials for Steering Committees and key meetings as outlined in GBS MOS system.
  • Own the GBS calendar and ensure its regularly updated with key materials.
  • Maintain Stakeholder map for GBS globally.

About you:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading Shared Services activities
  • 5+ years experience working with organization transformation, project management & Change management initiatives.
  • Adept at learning the functional business needs, creating internal partnerships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, good listening skills
  • Competent in diagnosing individual and organizational performance improvement needs, matching intervention methodology with needs, and determining the appropriate development measures
  • Experience of executing large projects in transformation (preferably for shared service centers)
  • Experience of executing projects in the area of shared services and outsourcing, frame strategy / feasibility phase to design and implementation
  • Strong presentation skills, both oral and written, to clearly communicate solutions and recommendations
  • Experience navigating and delivering in a highly matrixed landscape
  • Understanding of the Global Shared Services and Business Services Industry

Monthly base salary for this position is from €4,157.92 to €4,891.67 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
