Summary:
Dexcoms Global Product Design (GPD) is a multi-disciplinary team of user experience designers, visual designers, front-end software developers, prototype developers, instructional content designers and industrial designers who support the Dexcom product portfolio. Our newly formed GPD Studio in Vilnius is seeking a highly experienced product design leader to establish our EU-based team, leading a user experience and visual design team supporting a variety of products.  

About the Role:
  • You will have a key role within the GPD Design Leadership team delivering world-class products in partnership with UX, UI and Design Operations colleagues based in the US. 
  • You will oversee the development of an EU-based studio of UX, UI, visual illustrators/animators and support our prototype team.  
  • You will be responsible for developing an open and supportive team culture in Vilnius that mirrors the US-based GPD team, serving as the main connection point between Vilnius and the US-based teams. 
  • You will be responsible for the successful delivery of partner projects while serving as an intake point for the prototype, illustration and animation workstream across the team.   
  • You will put human experience at the center of product design and people management. 

About You:
  • You have experience designing mobile apps, Design Systems and illustration/animation development.
  • You bring deep experience with software product development, project planning and resource management. 
  • You have a solid knowledge of modern design and prototype tools used by the team: Figma, Sketch, Abstract, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Advanced critical thinking, a strong sense of accountability and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy are required.  
  • You have a passion for industry trends, competitor products and the development of new technology enabling the team to be efficient and effective.  
  • You can manage multiple workstreams, track progress and pivot to competing priorities across the studio.  
  • You forge ahead despite ambiguity or incomplete information.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €6,757.50 to €7,950.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
