THE HEAD OF LEGAL WILL
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to senior management on a broad range of legal issues, including contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and litigation matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, contracts, and policies, including aircraft wet leases, charter service agreements, IATA SGHAs, and collaborative partnerships.
- Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring best outcomes for the company.
- Stay informed of relevant aviation laws, regulations, and industry developments at the national and international levels to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with external legal counsel when required, representing the best company's interests.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to promote legal compliance and provide legal counsel on policy matters, offering insight into industry trends and best practices.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the preparation of thoroughly crafted legal documents for board meetings and other corporate affairs.
YOU ARE WELCOMED TO APPLY IF YOU HAVE
- Higher education law degree Common Law and/or Continental law.
- English law degree (Common Law) (would be considered as an advantage).
- Experience in aviation or transport industry (would be considered as an advantage).
- Experience of minimum 5 years.
- Fluency in English language (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of the provisions and principles of labor relations and Code of Civil Procedure.
- Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalize ideas.
- Solid ethics and morals and sound judgement.
