VIS is recruiting a full or part-time Science Lab Assistant from September 2024

Requirements and responsabilities

BA in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences

English language B2/C1- sufficient to understand written instructions

Provide support for the science team in setting up lab practicals and cleaning up and returning resources to storage.
Work in collaboration with the science team to support student revision, skill acquisition, and responding to gaps in knowledge.
Help with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and ordering new materials as needed.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and making minor repairs.
Assist students in understanding and following laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Provide guidance and support to students during experiments and investigations.
