Job description
As a Category Development Specialist, You'll:
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate category performance
- Identify opportunities and drive improvements through data-driven decisions
- Plan and execute strategic campaigns to boost visibility, sales, and customer engagement
- Optimize our product mix based on customer preferences, demand, store capacity, and profitability
- Communicate shopper insights and collaborate cross-functionally
- Process Nielsen and other sales data
- Advise on Perfect Store and Field Sales initiatives
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- 1-2 years' experience as a Market/Category Analyst, ideally in FMCG
- Native Lithuanian and fluent English (minimum B2 level)
- Collaboration skills for working with Sales/Marketing and negotiating with vendors
- Proven ability in product assortment optimization
- Persuasive communication to present suggestions and action plans
- Expertise in improving in-store product availability
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Strong analytics, organization, communication, and adaptability
- Knowledge of statistics, forecasting methodologies and financial/operational impacts
