Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

 ARE YOU READY TO?

• Collect, organize, and interpret data from various sources (SQL databases, API calls, etc.);
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks to ensure data integrity;
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for different departments within the company (using Power BI);
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate alerts for significant deviations or trends;
• Assist in the development and implementation of data governance and data security policies;
• Work with automation initiatives to optimize data handling and reporting processes, reducing manual efforts.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Fluency in English and Lithuanian languages, both spoken and written;
• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Engineer or similar role;
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization across various database systems;
• Experience in working with one of visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) or advanced visualization skills in Python;
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proactivity in identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements and taking the initiative to implement solutions.

 
WOULD BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADVANTAGE:

• Knowledge of Python language;
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central;
• Experience analyzing financial data, including budgeting and financial reporting;
• Experience with ETL tools.
