Join our dynamic Core Information and Customer Communication Management (CCM) squad, part of the Shared Capabilities cluster at Danica IT. This newly established team plays a vital role in our IT transformation, driving innovation by building and managing modern, enterprise-wide print and communication solutions, with a focus on output management.

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to designing and integrating a platform-independent CCM system to support our cloud-first strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions to enhance communication across Danica. You will also support best-in-class self-service capabilities for content owners and business units, enabling them to efficiently create and manage their communications.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of our IT landscape by collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Youll be part of creating a solution from the ground up, with opportunities to grow and make a tangible impact.

You will:

  • Contribute to the modernization of communication systems to enhance customer and partner engagement
  • Develop Danicas future print platform in line with architectural guidelines and IT strategy
  • Tackle technical challenges and contribute to both immediate solutions and long-term strategic goals
  • Monitor and improve system performance, focusing on scalability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with system teams to enhance API exposure for CCM and integrate solutions
  • Engage with architects, developers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders
  • Analyse requirements, document solutions, and conduct testing while maintaining technical records

About you:

Technical skills:

  • Expertise in .NET and C# development
  • Over 2 years of experience in software engineering
  • Skilled in API development
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture
  • Proficient in creating new solutions and integrations, focusing on transitioning to future platforms using AWS or other cloud providers
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design, object-oriented development, and distributed system architecture

 Soft skills:

  • Proactive and adaptable, with a strong drive to contribute to transformation efforts
  • Comfortable in agile environments; excels in cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at performance tuning and debugging
  • Effective communicator with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and results-focused; committed to delivering high-quality solutions

 Language proficiency:

  • Professional(Upper-Intermediate)English proficiency required

 Preferred but not mandatory skills:

  • Experience with CCM platforms and databases on Amazon RDS
  • Familiarity with integration frameworks such as Camunda Workflow Engine and Apache Camel
  • Knowledge in front-end development

We offer

Monthly salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
