Role Summary

This is a new, high-impact position designed to relieve the Sales team from post-sale client care duties and allow them to focus solely on business development.
You will manage a portfolio of international SME clients, ensuring their questions are answered promptly and issues are resolved with minimal friction.
Youll also be expected to identify opportunities to upsell services (e.g., new jurisdictions for VAT/GST/Sales tax compliance), all while nurturing long-term client satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

Client Communication Management:
Be the primary point of contact for all post-sale queries from assigned clients, mainly via email and HubSpot.
Operational Liaison:
Coordinate between clients and internal operational teams to ensure requests, issues, and tasks are resolved swiftly and accurately.
Issue Resolution:
Handle escalations and clarify misunderstandings, acting as a calm and professional mediator.
Client Education & Onboarding:
Support clients in understanding the compliance process, timelines, and deliverables with patience and clarity.
Upsell Opportunities:
Identify and promote relevant add-on services based on client expansion (e.g., VAT registration in new markets).
CRM Management:
Track all interactions in HubSpot, ensuring full visibility for internal teams and a seamless client experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in client-facing roles (e.g., account management, customer success, project coordination).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); other languages are a plus.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of communication and multitask across client relationships.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and empathetic under pressure.
  • Comfort with CRMs (ideally HubSpot) and standard business tools.
  • Basic knowledge or strong interest in finance/accounting/compliance topics; training will be provided.
