What We're Looking For
- You have at least 4 years of experience in indirect/direct taxation.
- You have at least 2 years of team management experience.
- You have sufficient knowledge of VAT taxation principles and the ability to apply them in various client scenarios.
- You have excellent communication, team management, and organizational skills.
- You are able to plan and allocate work between the team independently and evaluate team performance effectively.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex tax situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and timely service for both existing and new clients.
- Monitor VAT/GST/Sales tax returns submission deadlines, facilitate clear communication within the team, and anticipate risks.
- Plan and allocate the teams workload, ensuring an even distribution.
- Proactively advise the team and the clients on VAT/GST/Sales tax issues.
- Conduct monthly 1-on-1 meetings and KPI reviews with team members.
- Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
- Stay updated on global tax regulations and share insights with the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve operational processes.
- Ensure proper and timely invoicing of clients.

Role Summary
This is a high-impact role focused on expanding 1stopVAT's partner ecosystem and driving lead generation through external channels. You'll engage with accounting firms, software providers, accelerators, and other strategic players - building bridges that turn into long-term alliances.
You'll be our go-to person for indirect acquisition strategies: from pitching and onboarding new partners to co-marketing, joint events, and referral growth.
