Job Title: Compliance Officer

Job Descriptions:

• Compliance Management Program:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and develop an effective Compliance Management Program, comprehensively considering its products/services as well as law and legal regulations in Lithuania and EU;
  • Oversee the implementation of and continue to evolve the Compliance Management Program, which includes oversight of the applicable regulations, policies, procedures, training, and monitoring to support ongoing compliance efforts.
• Regulatory Examination Management: entirely manage regulatory examinations, including receiving notifications of exams, responding to initial examination requests for materials, hosting regulators onsite or offsite, responding to subsequent requests for materials and meetings, and preparing management responses to examinations. Post examination, ensuring findings and recommendations are addressed appropriately;
• Be responsible for the company’s compliance with the legal regulations over the PI/ EMI/ special bank license;
• Be a contact point of “DSBC Financial Europe” UAB with the Bank of Lithuania;
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and advocate on behalf of the company;
• Support DSBC to apply License, Licensing Maintenance, and Reporting in terms of compliance functionalities;
• Research and report on regulatory developments and make suggestions with respect to related compliance policy and procedure enhancements;
• Update legal documents, regulations and draft guidelines about financial services & risk management in accordance with European law.
• Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
• Make periodic reporting such as monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports as required by managers and directors.

Requirements

• Minimal 2 years of professional compliance experience as a compliance risk professional at financial institutions, banks, fin-tech companies (Payment Institution, EMI), financial regulatory agencies, or professional services firms serving financial institution clients;
• Bachelor’s degree required;
• Familiar with Lithuanian compliance legislation, supervision, licensing, especially with the Bank of Lithuania (Central Bank of Lithuania);
• A business mindset with a drive to find solutions that allow business and market share growth in a prudent and long-term-oriented approach;
• Experience working with state and/or local regulators;
• Fluent in Lithuanian (speaking and writing skills);
• Be able to communicate, read, and write in English.
