Job Responsibilities

• Understanding user needs, and exploring user-centered designs
• Specifying, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting your code
• Leveraging modern tools and techniques to develop clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Coaching, educating, and advocating front-end development best practices
• Work in an agile, project-centric, team-focused environment
• Continuously learn new methodologies and technologies

 

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• 2+ years of experience with Angular or React
• Knowledge in server-side JavaScript (i.e., Node.js)
• knowledge in unit, behavioral, and end-to-end testing
• Leveraging APIs
• Testing and resolving performance concerns
• Team Git workflow and version control
• Feeling comfortable in Agile / DevOps environment

 

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database principals and usage.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Experience building-up and leading technical teams.
• Visual or user experience design
• Setting up continuous delivery toolchain
• Native mobile development
• Involvement in IT communities and events
• Open-source contributions and community participation

• Good verbal and written communications skills
