Roles & Responsibilities
- Business partner, challenger, and trusted advisor
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide ‘forward-looking’ insights on revenue drivers, profitability analysis, cost reduction opportunities, business expansion
- Identification of efficiency gains and optimization of the operational activities
- Support business digitization and work optimization
- Evaluation of monthly financial results, interpretation of variances and KPIs
- Involvement in local and Group initiatives
- Support business in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Preparation and evaluation of investment proposals/business case
- Optimization of working capital to meet business objectives and maximize free cash flow
- Monitoring of business performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and reporting
Skills
- Batchelor’s degree in Finance
- Master’s degree in finance and ACCA certification or equivalent an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP and Blackline an advantage
- 3+ years of experience in Finance function
- Enjoys change and has an appetite to drive performance via standard processes, SLAs and enabling technologies
- Fluency in English
- Business and Commercial Acumen
- Story-telling – translate the numbers to business story
- Ability to develop good working relationships with internal customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Takes full ownership and accountability of end-to-end process, and any issues through to resolution
- Ability to find simple solutions for complex problems and work effectively to resolve issues and drive win-win outcomes
- Strong quantitative and analytical competencies
- Digital dexterity and ability to interpret large data sets within Excel, to present data as information used to drive decision making.
