We'll be looking for you to lead a team of talented employees and play a key role in communicating to senior stakeholders. This team perform the settlement operation duties (payments, AR, etc.) and you will monitor the progress of daily operations and ensure issues are resolved on a timely basis. You will identify inefficiencies in the current workflow of the team and bring in new automated processes to increase the team's accuracy and effectiveness. As well you will coordinate work relating to internal and external audits and be key player to any operations related projects.
For such a detail-oriented role, you will need to be degree educated, or equivalent with a solid number of years accounting / operations experience. You will need to have experience in process management and automating manual process. You will need to be a good communicator who can manage workloads and get the best of a team. You must be analytically minded and comfortable handling large amounts of data. You will need strong attention to detail and be a comfortable user of Microsoft Excel. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.

The monthly gross base salary range is 2810 – 4780 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
