Associate Accountant

Based in Vilnius, the Bazaarvoice Finance organization is looking for an accounting professional – Associate Accountant to join the finance team. This position will focus on daily communication with external accounting partner, providing primary information for preparing various Tax returns, submitting accounting information to the accounting service provider and auditors in accordance with local and US requirements.
 

Work directly with accounting service provider in:
- Collecting and submitting information for fringe benefit, VAT/GST reporting and compliance for non-US entities
- Managing the paperwork related to new entities, director changes, new bank accounts
- Tracking task list prepared by the accounting service provider; following reporting deadlines
- Assisting in various analysis, initiatives and ad hoc projects related with financial reporting requirements
- Assisting with employment grants including gathering supporting data
- Providing required information for preparation of US state tax returns
- Preparing journal entries, reconciliations as needed 

Essential

University or high education degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Up to 2 years of accounting or audit experience
Strong attention to details and organisational skills
Analytical problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English

Desirable

Experience in NetSuite or similar accounting system
Knowledge or / and experience in International Taxes
