Job description

Do you want to join our exciting journey to build a new SSC Center within a Fortune 500 company? You want to co-create and experience a state-of-the art hybrid workstyle? You have the attitude to shape a value-driven and structured service execution within a SSC? As Head of Finance, you are fully responsible to deliver the defined services within the specified time, budget and quality to the satisfaction of the internal and external stakeholders.

Main Tasks:

  • Support the ramp up of the newly established Shared Service Center for clients in Kaunas with regards to the financial, operational and strategic set up
  • Ensure and lead the transition from the local Finance teams to the Finance Shared Service Center in close corporation with the local project team
  • Define KPIs to track the performance of the services provided by the Shared Service Center
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation within a changing business environment
  • Continuously develop and improve business processes like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management
  • Functional and disciplinary leader of 3-6 team leads and an overall of 30-50 team members with cross-functional tasks incl. ensuring right qualifications and skill set of the staff (e.g. hiring, onboarding, training etc.)
  • Drive close collaboration and communication of the Shared Service Center with key stakeholders (e.g., EMEA finance teams, local management and government, headquarter and other stakeholders)
  • Support in the recruitment strategies to ensure a steady talent supply, retention and support the current and future business needs
  • Support in year end closing / reporting in the affected local countries e.g. local PWC audits 

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Economics or similar
  • At least 5 - 10 years of experience in different functions, e.g. Service/Business Center, financial management,  Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Project Management
  • Demonstrated track record of driving consensus, decisions and results within a decentralized business set up
  • Strong project management capability
  • Profound change management experience
  • Experience in process management
  • Experience in leading teams and working internationally
  • Experience in working in remote teams and strong intercultural competence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English further EMEA language, especially German is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (0%-15%)
