Job description

  • Oversee and process activities related to payments and vendor master data tasks.
  • Adhere to processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of vendor master data to ensure consistency across multiple locations.
  • Process business requests related to the creation and updates of vendor master data and troubleshoot issues related to data.
  • Execute payments, review, and correct the payment batch for external and internal suppliers.
  • Process outgoings/incomings Currency/SEPA payments through online banking platform and reflect it in SAP. 
  • Maintain high levels accuracy, even when under time pressure in the case of urgent or manual payments.
  • Meet critical deadlines for all payment processing work, adhering to bank payment cut-off times.
  • Identify any areas or processes for improvement.
  • Implement and ensure that global accounting policies and procedures, agreed internal processes are implemented and followed.
  • Train and educate new and existing finance colleagues.
  • Conduct month end closing and year-end closing procedures. 

Requirements

  • Relevant higher education in finance field is an advantage
  • Relevant and/or similar work experience within payments / accounting field (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience working with Procure-to-Pay process and Master Data Management.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve questions and problems independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
  • Proficient Excel, Outlook skills and experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Proven team player.
  • Analytical mindset with solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
  • Co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are an asset.
