Job description
- Oversee and process activities related to payments and vendor master data tasks.
- Adhere to processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of vendor master data to ensure consistency across multiple locations.
- Process business requests related to the creation and updates of vendor master data and troubleshoot issues related to data.
- Execute payments, review, and correct the payment batch for external and internal suppliers.
- Process outgoings/incomings Currency/SEPA payments through online banking platform and reflect it in SAP.
- Maintain high levels accuracy, even when under time pressure in the case of urgent or manual payments.
- Meet critical deadlines for all payment processing work, adhering to bank payment cut-off times.
- Identify any areas or processes for improvement.
- Implement and ensure that global accounting policies and procedures, agreed internal processes are implemented and followed.
- Train and educate new and existing finance colleagues.
- Conduct month end closing and year-end closing procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant higher education in finance field is an advantage.
- Relevant and/or similar work experience within payments / accounting field (minimum 2 years).
- Experience working with Procure-to-Pay process and Master Data Management.
- Ability to analyze and resolve questions and problems independently.
- Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
- Proficient Excel, Outlook skills and experience with SAP is a plus.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proven team player.
- Analytical mindset with solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
- Co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are an asset.
