Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent function that provides objective assurance to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team in the Danske Bank Group. We are guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the processes of the Bank and support the Group to achieve its business goals in a sustainable way. This by evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of risk management, control environment and governance processes.
You will join an innovative and forward-thinking internal audit function with the collaborative and agile work culture. We are more than 100 highly engaged employees with diverse nationalities, geographical locations, backgrounds and specializations. You will become part of a team of skilled auditors that performs audits across the entire Danske Bank Group.
You will:
- Plan and execute audits of Compliance processes – including risk assessments, scoping, evaluation of governance processes and control assessment, report drafting and follow-up on findings
- Lead projects, ensure timely reporting
- Align expectations, coach and give feedback to team members
- Interact with stakeholders to maintain knowledge about business initiatives, products, processes etc.
- Support ad-hoc maintenance of risk assessment, and annual planning as well as compiling reports to risk committees, Board of Directors and management
- Have opportunities to participate in internal strategical projects, which further develop Group Internal Audit
- Have the opportunity to also audit other Business Units/Functions of Danske Bank
About you:
- At least 2-3 years experience within Regulatory Compliance (e.g. Market Abuse, MIFID, Conflict of Interest, data protection etc.) either from auditing compliance topics or from employment in 2nd line Compliance function
- Collaborative mindset and be efficient in building relationships
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to communicate conclusions effectively with logical references to arguments and documented findings in a respectful, transparent, and convincing manner
- Advanced English language
- Experience in the team- and project work
- Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration (cand.merc.(aud.)) or similar would be a bonus
- Work experience from a financial institution or experience with auditing governance, risk management, processes and controls would be a bonus
- Knowledge of data analytics and programming is an advantage but not a requirement
We offer
Monthly salary range from 3720 EUR to 5580 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
