Better requires process discipline and simplification
We'll be looking to you to be a key contributor to and ambassador of the Global Sourcing and Procurement function which is supporting Western Union employees worldwide in the acquisition of products and services on behalf of the Company. You will collaborate with GSP team members, Western Union Legal, and other business units that are engaged in sourcing and contract administration activities.  You'll execute buying strategies based on established buying plans to obtain the most quality at the lowest cost; you will analyze the market and industry conditions and will develop supply recommendations; you will also draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute supplier contracts, statements of work, letters of authorization, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents that support multiple internal lines of business to ensure compliance with Western Union policies and applicable laws and regulations.  You will maintain databases and repositories of supplier agreements (Workday, SharePoint, and Oracle).  You will ensure compliance with Western Union procurement and contract preparation, approval, and signatory requirements.

For such a detail-driven role, you'll have 3+ years of expertise and proficiency within the (preferably international) sourcing and contract management discipline.  You will also have obtained your bachelor's degree in the supply chain, business administration, logistics,  finance or similar.  You'll have experience with a broad range of sourcing/procurement systems, such as Workday, SharePoint, and Oracle. You will have knowledge and experience in standard RFX process and methodology, drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions. You will be analytical and have assessment skills including the capability to summarize results and communicate conclusions concisely. You'll have experience in negotiations. You'll demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, vendors, partners, and third parties.

The monthly gross base salary range is 2150 – 3569 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
