Here are some responsibilities you will have:

• Serve as lead content developer for a cloud base enterprise-scale Splunk solution.

• Develop a framework for building security focused content for complex client SIEM and Analytic solution deployment.

• Help focus on the creation of complex threat detection logic, dynamic operational dashboards, data source normalization as well as configuration and deployment of SIEM or SEM and architect log management or ingestion solutions against that framework.

• Help build strategies around automation for security tools management and create customized searches and applications use programming and development expertise.

• Act as a Splunk Search Language (SPL) and analytics expert, develop network or entity-based anomaly detection and alert logic in Data Lake or SPL using the ML tool kit.

Here are some skills, attributes and qualifications you will have:

• 5+ years of experience as Splunk engineer for a large-scale enterprise SIEM.

• Experience with customer interaction and data onboarding, configuration, and optimization in Splunk.

• Experience with automation technologies including: CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and scripting to manipulate data.

• Experience with working in a large enterprise environment.

• Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and other security technology logging would be necessary as well.

• Ability to demonstrate SPL expertise and to multitask and solve complex technical problems.

The monthly gross base salary range is 4125 – 6522 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health, accident, and life insurance options, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
