Pricing Actuary

Are you passionate about finding relationships in complex data structures and looking for opportunities to use your knowledge in the development of risk/pricing models?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Develop and maintain pricing models and formulas, incl. risk-based pricing and pricing optimization approaches, using advanced statistical methods, tools, and best practices
• Follow insurance risk data quality in IT systems. Initiate changes to ensure the necessary data collection, data availability and quality improvement
• Develop and maintain price calculators for underwriting usage
• Create and keep up to date pricing models related documentation
• Provide support for Underwriters in pricing related decision making
• Provide ad hoc statistical analysis for Underwriters and management and to prepare regular product performance reports
• Describe price related IT requirements
• Perform testing for price related IT developments
• Calculate Solvency exposures and reinsurance capacity needs

What is needed in this role:

• University degree in the field of statistics or mathematics
• Skills and experience in data mining, data management, risk model development
• Good analytical skills, ability to work independently, take initiative
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with the team
• Fluent in Local language and good English
• Strong computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, databases, SQL, R. Knowledge in Python and experience working with ML and AI would be considered an advantage
