Area

We are looking for a junior software engineer eager to kickstart a career in the data field. By joining our Danske Bank DataStage Academy initiative, you’ll have an opportunity to learn very unique ETL skillset on IBM’s DataStage platform. You will join other .NET developers, BI Engineers, DevOps gurus, IT Systems and Business analysts – all working in cross-functional squads to deliver modern technology solutions across all financial domains.

You will:

  • Enhance existing DataStage ETL solutions
  • Build the applications with easy maintenance and operations in mind
  • Work in an agile setup & collaborative atmosphere
  • Maintain good communication with Analysts both in IT and business areas
  • Work closely with other developers to ensure development is on par with development guidelines and best practices
  • In the long run, help us modernize our ELT solution

About you:

  • Interest in data and knowledge about SQL
  • Ability to learn from mistakes made and improve based on feedback
  • Flexibility and adaptability in achieving shared goals
  • Knowledge of at least one programing language
  • Scripting knowledge with PowerShell, C# or Python would be an advantage
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

We offer

Monthly salary range from 2400 EUR to 3600 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
