The Chief Site Engineer shall represent the Contractor in all the matters related to technical and organizational issues arising from the day-to-day activities of the Works. He/she shall be responsible also for the construction supervision from the Contractor, for the communication with the local authorities and for the update of the construction journal in Lithuanian language.
He shall work in liaison with the Project Manager and the Contractor’s QC Team and contribute proactively to the planning of the execution of the works in a day-by-day basis.
He shall lead a group of Lead site engineers, responsible for works supervision in different project disciplines.
He will be also the primary point of contact on site of the Customer and of the Technical Control Team on all aspects related to the execution of the construction works.
Attendance of all planned progress inspections and tests and report to Customer Technical Control team.
Subcontractors schedule control.
Verification of the monthly valuations of the subcontractors.
Daily and Weekly Reports for the customer (English language compulsory).
Review and verification of the Method Statements issued by subcontractors (English language compulsory).
