SYMANTEC (BLUECOAT) SUPPORT ENGINEER

NCC Group require a Symantec Support Engineer with specific product skills and vendor best practice experience who is comfortable with working alongside our client to achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operation, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Configuration, Change Management and ongoing Support of our clients ‘in production’ products.
  • Provide support to production implementation, migration, cutover or version upgrade services of our clients’ products.
  • Together with the Program Manager, identify and highlight areas where product capabilities can be used to improve our clients’ security posture and/or operational efficiency.
  • Assistance with solution engineering, testing and qualification of new products into test and/or production environment.
  • Provide Best Practices advice for effective operations
  • Provide advice to Planning and Operations Team for Supplier related issues, tasks, or technical questions.
  • Provide reporting and analytics
  • Update configuration and design documentation as required.
  • React to technical issues and assist with root cause analysis and resolution; and work with Supplier Support to assist in resolution of logged technical incidents.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of operating environment and business priorities, in relation to product implementation.
