About the role

Our Accounting Team is looking for a motivated and proactive Senior Financial Accountant who will be managing local Financial activities in Lithuania department. You will have a colleague in Finance LT department who is already waiting for you, so we are hoping that you are keen on mentoring and working in a collaboration.

Nevertheless, this role will not only require to manage daily local operations in Lithuania, but also to support Global projects in Finance Zenitech team, so mainly you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller. As we are growing and continuously improving our Finance function, we are looking for a person who will be willing to engage in creating global processes and forming ways of working. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll need to:

Coordinate bookkeeping, VAT reporting, support payroll function;
Ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly and in a timely manner;
Do Financial Accounts reconciliation and review monthly balance reconciliations;
Maintain Prepayment and Accruals schedules;
Prepare and process closing month-end journals;
Prepare various reports as requested by the Head Office in London by the required month end deadline;
Prepare the monthly cash-flow statement, annual financial statements, including draft disclosures;
Assist in the preparation of the budgets, forecasts and posts of budget/forecast to the ERP system;
Help with Audit and Due Diligence queries, including liaison with the external Auditors;
Help project managers with client billing if the systems are not automated enough;
Manage the statutory audit process for the Lithuanian office;Assess the implications of new accounting standards;
Implement and maintain financial controls;Help support the implementation of the new Accounts IQ accounting system;
Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to local leadership on commercial and finance matters (e.g., salary planning, review, bonuses);
Be the liaison with local external accountants on external audit and compliance matters.

Skills we appreciate:

Knowledge in AR/AP/GL processes;
Experience with various reports, budget preparation and forecasting;
Audit experience;
Experience in migrating systems and familiarization with Account IQ would be a plus;
English speaking to B2/C1 level;
Teamwork and cooperation in a cross-cultural team.
