I am Laura Širvinskaitė, leading Asset Accounting and GL Reconciliation Team at Telia Finance Shared Services in Telia Global Services Lithuania - a competency hub working with cutting-edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics. I am looking for an Asset Accountant to join a highly professional team.

You are expected to support our stakeholders, the business, with expertise to ensure correct asset accounting. Month end closing activities are also important part of the roles responsibilities. To succeed in the role, among other qualifications, you should have a good understanding of general accounting as well as Excel functions.

 Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Accounting of fixed assets according to local, international and industry specific accounting requirements
• Constant maintenance of fixed assets ledger
• Preparation for monthly, quarterly, and year-end group and statutory reporting
• Delivery of timely and accurate financial information compliant with accounting standards, laws and other regulations
• Preparation of periodical financial reports and balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Collaboration and support to stakeholders and other engaged third parties such as auditors
• Raising and implementation of improvements aiming to eliminate waste, secure accounting quality, harmonize and automate processes to reach efficiency and quality goals
• Taking part in developing a new way of working in our journey of digitalization 

Your experience and skills: 

• >1 year of experience in Accounting
• Fluency in the English language (written and spoken)
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivots, etc.)
• Genuine interest in developing Excel proficiency (like macros) and other automation possibilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Experience in Asset Accounting (advantage)
• Experience in SAP (advantage)

Working in this position you will receive a base salary of 2110 - 2350Eur (gross) depending on your experience, plus annual bonuses depending on your individual achievements and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
