Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of managing finance, preparing financial reports, and implementing sound accounting practices. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations, with expertise in Lithuanian GAAP (IFRS accounting standards considered a plus).
Proficiency in using ERP systems (experience with BSS ERP is a plus).
A proactive personality with a drive to push things forward.
Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Fluency in Lithuanian and good commands of English.
At least a BSc in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
