Job description
We are looking for an experienced financial analyst for a mission of 12-months. The candidate will join our FP&A team responsible for financial analysis and results planning for our Glass Reinforcement Europe business unit.
Key responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in monthly results closing activities and budget forecasting, to get a good understanding of existing processes and tools currently in use.
- Assist and conduct in preparing reports, forecasts, and budgets to identify performance drivers and improvement areas.
- Participate in developing and improving financial models, tools, and processes to enhance FP&A capabilities.
- Support business performance improvement through analysis and conclusions on required changes.
- Monitor financial and operational performance metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Optimize current reporting tools, by leveraging the HANA module in Excel and the POWER BI platform to automate report updates.
- Participate to various activities of the FP&A and commercial finance teams, for specific tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in similar field of expertise.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematic or Accounting fields.
- Good understanding of financial concepts related to Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet statement.
- Ability to analyze processes in autonomy and create detailed process flow diagrams
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA would be considered as advantage.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
