As the concept team is growing, we are looking for a Concept Manager of Gren Group to play a key role in Growth team and guarantee the success of new investment projects.

You will work with different technical concepts and technologies depending on your experience and competence. These technologies can include e.g. industrial heating and district heating production, industrial cooling, other industrial process solutions, thermal energy storages, electrification solutions such as heat pumps and battery storages, combined heat and electricity production, water and wastewater treatment, biogas production and solar energy.

Responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of technical concepts
• Analysis of customer and stakeholder energy situations, including site visits
• Energy and mass balance estimation and modelling
• Preparation of investment and O&M cost estimates and budgets
• Preparation of request of proposals for plant suppliers and evaluation of tenders
• Reporting for clients and internal decision makers
• Managing technical due diligence process in M&A cases

• Higher education in engineering or similar field and 5+ years experience in energy or industrial sector
• Team player with good communication skills and proficiency in English. Other language skills in Baltic and Nordic languages will be considered as a plus
• Technical and commercial concept development mindset
• High analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to produce presentations of the selected solutions with clear message and structure.
• Holistic and open-minded for business opportunities and looking for added value to the company.
• Track record of energy infrastructure projects
• Technical knowledge and experience of at least some of the following: industrial heating and district heating production, industrial cooling, other industrial process solutions, thermal energy storages, electrification solutions such as heat pumps and battery energy storages, combined heat and electricity production, water and wastewater treatment, biogas production and solar energy

Nice to have:

• Experience from technical concept development, pre-engineering and/or M&A processes
• Experience of automation solutions for electrification and remote operation is considered a plus
• Experience from energy intensive industry and chemical processes is considered a plus
