Job description
You will develop appealing front-end web design and use your expertise to build and add best-in-class web solutions for Continental customers. This role allows you to be a part of a development team and have the opportunity to influence other key projects inside the organization. The team is using Adobe Experience Manager as a central eCommerce platform for marketing activities of companys customers facing brands like BestDrive by Continental.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting-edge frontend applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Collaborate closely with our external agile Dev-Team to develop components and features.
- Analyze business requirements and ensure that the solution fulfills the business needs
- Solve complex problems by providing technical and operational support
- Solution-oriented way of thinking to efficiently implement new features independently and proactively present suggestions for improvement to the team.
- Open communication, high degree of freedom, cooperative partnership, and flat hierarchies
Requirements
- Academic Degree in a relevant field or a combination of a comparable qualification and work experience
- >4 years hands-on experience in frontend development
- Strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Profound knowledge of TypeScript, React, Webpack, Angular or Vue.JS
- Ideally experience with RESTful API integrations
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
- SCRUM or other agile development methodologies, and experience with version control software and principles (e.g., GIT)
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma is a plus, with the ability to translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code
- Comfortable with code as well as with people-related topics and have experience in a technical role in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills (English), both verbal and written, with the capability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
