Chief Accountant - CEVA Logistics

A client of Workingday Latvia CEVA Logistics provides world-class supply chain solutions for large and medium-sized national and multinational companies across the globe. The company is looking for a Chief Accountant, based in Vilnius, who will be responsible for full-cycle accounting for the CEVA Logistics Lithuanian entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective information exchange with the group finance team.

Your responsibilities:

Ensure that full-cycle accounting processes comply with Lithuanian regulatory requirements and the internal procedures of the company group
Prepare financial and tax reports for management and state authorities
Oversee the preparation of the annual financial statement (starting with the 2025 report)
Record bank transactions, prepare outgoing payments, and process payments
Collaborate with the external payroll service provider
Monitor changes in tax, financial, and accounting legislation and ensure compliance
Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of precision

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a full-cycle accountant in an international company
Strong knowledge of the Lithuanian tax system, including VAT, corporate tax, payroll, and related areas
Higher education in accounting or finance
Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills (MS Office); experience with SAP or similar ERP system
Fluent in English to ensure effective collaboration with international group colleagues
Experience in logistics or a related industry will be considered an advantage
