A client of WorkingDay Latvia - established in 2019, LIT EGG specializes in poultry farming and egg production, operating three divisions across different regions. With state-of-the-art automated systems for feeding, watering, egg collection, lighting, ventilation, and waste removal, combined with balanced feed, LIT EGG ensures the production of top-quality eggs and delivers premium products to the market. The company's packing centre, certified under the ISO 22000 quality management standard, guarantees excellence in sorting, labelling, packaging, and distribution.

As a part of the Balticovo Group, and in line with the Group's ongoing business development in Lithuania through its companies LIT EGG and Ariogalos Grūdai, the company is now seeking a highly experienced and professional Chief Accountant to take the lead in advancing and managing financial projects across both Lithuanian entities.

Requirements:

Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Chief Accountant in a medium or large manufacturing company
In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian legislation in accounting, finance, and taxation
Strong expertise in management accounting and hands-on experience with management reports, budgeting, and cash flow planning
Advanced MS Excel skills and preferably experience working with MS Dynamics 365 or Axapta
Ability to manage large volumes of information with high accuracy, along with solid team leadership skills
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and production teams
Fluency in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken)
Willingness to work mostly on-site in Ariogala or Plungė (Lithuania)

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting processes for two companies: LIT EGG and Ariogalos Grūdai
Ensure compliance with Lithuanian accounting, tax, and financial regulations
Prepare and submit financial statements, tax returns, and statistical reports to relevant authorities
Compile and deliver consolidated financial statements for internal and external use
Lead and support a team of 3 accountants, fostering a productive and professional work environment
Ensure accurate fixed asset accounting and coordinate inventory processes
Prepare regular financial reports, including budgets and cash flow statements, for management
Collaborate with colleagues across the Baltic region and coordinate intercompany processes
Act as the main contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process
Guide management on accounting, tax, and financial matters
