Your Role: As a Junior QA Engineer, you will ensure the functionality and reliability of our Self-Checkout solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced QA professionals, enhancing your skills and growing your career in a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with an experienced QA engineers to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Design, implement, and maintain manual test suites using the TestRail system.
Plan, prioritize, and execute testing activities efficiently.
Analyse software specifications and requirements to ensure thorough understanding.
Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for product improvements.
Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Validate deliverables to ensure they meet functional and design specifications.
Conduct software functionality tests to identify and resolve issues.
Track, register, and manage bugs/defects to ensure timely resolution.
Apply Agile principles to optimize your workflow and project outcomes.

Required Competencies:

Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Passionate about identifying and addressing software imperfections.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with essential testing concepts, including the Testing Pyramid, writing test cases, and manual testing.
Experience with MS SQL databases is a plus.
