Job description

If you're passionate about driving innovation, building real-world AI solutions at scale, and shaping the ML strategy of a growing data company - this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced ML engineers.
  • Set the technical direction and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Design and develop production-grade ML models and systems.
  • Own the end-to-end ML development lifecycle: data preparation, modeling, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Work closely with C-level leaders and product teams to drive strategy and roadmap.
  • Bring innovation to carVerticals data products and contribute to the scientific community (e.g., by speaking at conferences).
  • Build robust CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
  • Deploy models using REST APIs, microservices, Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
  • Strong leadership experience: leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of ML algorithms and evaluation metrics (precision, recall, F1, ROC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python (Golang is a plus).
  • Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps tools: MLflow, Nvidia Triton or similar.
  • Familiarity with designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Practical knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

It would be huge plus if you have:

  • Experience with LightGBM.
  • Background in Computer Vision (CV) or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of Nvidia Triton architecture.
