About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Tax Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. You will work on computation of taxable income and tax adjustments, security analysis, tax allocations and preparation of US tax forms. Responsibilities include handling special projects as needed.

Your Role:

Monitoring the delivery of high quality compliance services (VAT return preparation, review and filing) to international clients of your own clients portfolio
Handling queries from the tax authorities and dealing with VAT controversies
Leading client meetings and training organized by our Group
Building productive, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, across a broad network, based on mutual respect
Developing your colleagues talent by giving them technical support, by delegating them VAT issues and by supervising the VAT returns they prepare
Supporting initiatives of VAT compliance automation processes
Supporting, guiding and coaching Seniors and Juniors in the team and being involved in the further career development of your colleagues;
Staying abreast of general business and economic developments and demonstrates an understanding of the clients business and policies. Works with the client and engagement team to understand the clients business and VAT needs,
Acting as point of contact liaise with your clients and colleagues with respect to Citco VAT compliance
Following up on legislative changes and business changes in order to ensure that the systems and/or processes are updated
Identifying issues and opportunities to continuously improve the VAT compliance processes
Actively participating to the training and coaching session in your development plan to ensure continuous development of your technical knowledge

About You:

Experience of minimum 6 years in VAT compliance field;
Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline;
Have a very good command of both written and spoken English
Strong software skills
MS Excel successful candidate will be comfortable with formulas, should understand the basics of pivot tables, and be able to navigate and understand workbooks
Candidates should have an intuitive feel and be a quick study of various software applications
Be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills
High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize
Have desire to learn and develop on an ongoing basis
Be able to adapt to new challenges
Have good analytical and problem solving skills
Working experience in related fields (Audit, Accounting or Taxation) is a plus, but not required

Salary Ranges

2500 - 3250 EUR GROSS
