About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Group CFO leader to take on the position of Finance Director for the Baltic Region, overseeing Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The ideal candidate has proven experience as a Group CFO, with a deep understanding of all areas of finance from strategy and risk to accounting and operations. This role is critical in steering long-term financial growth, shaping strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial governance across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the groups financial strategy in both the short and long term.
- Ensure profitable and sustainable financial performance across all Baltic entities.
- Lead group-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring.
- Oversee capital structure, risk management, and investment performance.
- Drive innovation in financial processes and implement advanced financial systems.
- Lead and develop finance teams across the Baltics, fostering excellence and collaboration.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive board.
- Ensure compliance with regional regulations and international financial standards.
- Manage relationships and negotiations with financial institutions and partners.
- Supervise accounting, reporting, and all core financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven Group CFO or equivalent experience with responsibility for the full spectrum of finance, ideally covering multi-country or Baltic operations.
- Education: University degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Languages: Fluent in English (Baltic language skills are an advantage).
- Leadership: Strong track record in leading finance organizations and multi-disciplinary teams at a senior, cross-border level.
Technical Knowledge
- Corporate finance and group financial strategy development
- Budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Risk, capital, and cash flow management at group level
- Advanced financial reporting, analysis, and consolidation
- Payroll, compensation, and tax structuring
- ERP and financial systems management
- Knowledge of banking, insurance, and capital markets
