Job description:
As the Search Network Specialist, you will be assist in defining, building and optimising a large network of sites in coordination with the Search Network Manager, to maximise the traffic delivered to our clients and to enable them to meet customer acquisition targets. You will implement strategies, try out new techniques and search opportunities, and analyze successful competitors so that the sites in the network are as visible as possible in search engines. You will help manage a large portfolio of websites, helping with technical configuration, content and offsite work in order to maintain visibility and drive growth for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reporting on performance of the network for clients and stakeholders.
- Audit the websites in the network and analyse them against competitors.
- Assist in responding to changes in Google rankings and local business conditions.
- Work with content, outreach and webops teams to optimise the site portfolio against targets.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in SEO.
- Experience with Google tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of/interest in creating, hosting and optimising web sites.
Nice to have:
- Experience in working on different SEO strategies, including offsite/onsite or tech SEO.
- Experience in using search console, analytics and SEO ranking tools.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights succinctly.
- The ability to manage multiple work streams and stakeholders.
- Quick to adapt to different challenges and take ownership of the problems that arise when managing sites.
