In this position, we are looking for a person who would ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of cloud-based services through proactive monitoring, incident management, and automation. This role demands extensive Azure knowledge as well as the ability to respond decisively during critical situations.
Your responsibilities will be balanced between a technical proficiency, collaborative communication and operational optimization, thus proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement will be valued a lot. Your work will involve overseeing daily operations, deploying new and updated services, coordinating with other departments to align operational activities, monitoring and analysing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. At the same time, you will have to work on identifying, developing and implementing initiatives to enhance process optimization and automation as well as operational efficiency and IT service quality.
Other responsibilities will include
- Evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies to support business growth
- Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, providing high quality support
- to customers, users and systems
- Requests escalation and continuous updates of support documentation
- Incident and Change management processes development, implementation and continuous improvement
- Carrying out root cause analyses, implementing quick workarounds and proactive measures
- Ensuring that the defined SLAs/SLOs are adhered to
- Creating, monitoring and analysing KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement
- and optimization opportunities.
We are looking for a person with the following experience
- Fundamental knowledge in CI/CD tools and processes (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Working experience in cloud-based environments with extensive knowledge in
- operations
- Skills in Linux, OS administration, networking, databases, virtual machines,
- containerized applications, API based applications
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical team members and empathetic customer interaction
- Strong team collaboration, communication, and organizational skills in a global setting
- Ability to ensure data protection, data quality and data integrity and compliance with
- legal/regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of MS Azure, including App Services, App Gateways, Key Vaults, Functions,
- PostgreSQL databases, VNETs, Log Analytics, and App Insights
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
