We are looking to recruit a lab technician (research assistant) to support our research activity in the field of piezoelectric electromechanical actuators at the Faculty of Electronics, at Vilnius Tech. The ideal candidate will be motivated to pursue research questions in the field of science and engineering, and will assist in undertaking laboratory experiments, perform measurements, collect, analyze and curate data, and assist in the upkeep of the lab environment. The technician will be working closely with experienced researchers in the field of actuators and transducers.

Duration: 3 months - 1 year (renewable)

Location: Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius Tech), Vilnius, Lithuania

Starting Date: October 2026 or as soon as possible.

In addition to being part of an experienced, highly motivated and growing team, you will be working on the state-of-the-art research in the field of piezoelectric actuators in a cutting-edge laboratory environment. The position is initially open for a period of 3 months, but can, upon satisfactory performance, be extended by an additional period or transformed into a PhD opportunity.

Salary: EUR 2,400–3,000 gross per month, depending on the candidate’s education and qualifications.

For candidates who are currently studying, the possibility of part-time employment may also be considered.
